Beverage & Juice spout pouches

Cost Effective Drinks Spout Pouch

For beverage and juice spout pouches, the focus is on freshness, leak resistance, portability, and visual appeal, especially if the pouch is for on-the-go use, kids’ drinks, or single-serve packs. Depending on shelf life and whether the drink is hot-filled or cold-filled, the material structure will vary slightly

Option 1: PET / NY / PE (Most Common)

  • PET: Print layer, scratch-resistant, and good strength
  • NY (Nylon): Adds puncture resistance and durability
  • PE: Inner sealant layer, safe for food and flexible

✔️ Ideal for:

  • Cold-fill or chilled juice
  • Drinks with short-to-medium shelf life
  • Portable or single-serve juice pouches (100ml–500ml)

Option 2: PET / AL / NY / PE (High Barrier Option)

  • AL (Aluminum Foil): Excellent protection from oxygen, light, and moisture
  • Best for long shelf life (6–12+ months), especially for non-refrigerated drinks

✔️ Ideal for:

  • Shelf-stable juices (e.g., fruit blends, smoothies, flavored waters)
  • Nutritional or fortified beverages
  • Export packaging or hot climates

Option 3: PET / NY / RCPP (For Hot-Fill Juices up to 125°C)

  • For drinks that are filled hot and cooled inside the pouch
  • RCPP resists high temps and maintains pouch shape and seal integrity

✔️ Ideal for:

  • Juice with pulp
  • Baby or kids’ juice that requires pasteurization or sterilization
  • Herbal or medicinal drinks

Optional Transparent Version:

PET / EVOH-PE / PE or PET / EVOH / NY / PE

  • Keeps pouch semi-transparent while maintaining a moderate barrier
  • Good for premium drinks where visibility of the product is a selling point
